Chuck Bean

President, Baxter Bean & Associates

His business expertise is focused in leadership, management and client development strategy. He works with organizations to increase revenue through establishing visions, implementing strategies and training tactical skills.

He regularly works with corporations to help them maximize their return on investment in the utilization of both hard and soft assets. This includes developing organizational models and "go to market strategies", as well as re-structurings and turn-arounds.

He believes that success comes from a mix of skiills, attitude and knowledge and that personal leadership is above all else the key to success for everyone and every company.

Chuck has provided visioning, training and leadership support/coaching to firms such as: Aurum, Great West Life, Greyhound, Enerflex, BW Technologies, Patterson, Baker Hughes, SMED Group, Jager Building Systems, Sprung, Scotiabank, BofM, ING Bank, Unisource, UPS, Fed Ex, IPS, APF Energy and Fountain Tire. He has worked or mentored with the IBM consulting group, EY group, Tandem International and more.

He is a past Board Director of Alberta Theater Projects, Chairman of The Mayors Ride for Clean Air, Chairman of Calgary Business Week (Chairman of the Year 2001), and is a patron of “The Quilt” a national breast cancer support project.

Chuck loves to travel. So if he his not home in NW Calgary, you can find him spending his time with his wife Natasha either at his second home in Phoenix or some other interesting place around the world.

"I have been a cyclist all of my life. Growing up in the country meant if you wanted to go somewhere, you needed a bike. Today my preference is still the road. Speed is everything and there is nothing more thrillng than weaving with the traffic at 50-60 kms an hour!"
